What We Believe

what we believe

  • Prayer, to us, is a tool to harvest the souls of the lost for Christ (Psa 2:8; Ezek 36:37).
  • We believe God forgives, restores and heals. “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives.”  (Isa 61:1).
  • We believe in targeting specific individuals and families in prayer for the salvation of their souls (Acts 16: 30-31).
  • We believe God gives us power and authority for healing. “He gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.” (Luke 9:1).
  • We believe in prayer and fasting as a vital spiritual force for boosting Church growth (Matt 16:18; Matt 17:21).
  • We believe God meets with us when we pray together. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matt. 18:20).
  • We see praying for the salvation of souls as every believer’s responsibility with attendant benefits (John 15:16; John 4:3536; Eph 6:8).
  • We believe there is healing simply in the asking. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find” (Matt 7:7-11).
  • We believe that praying for the lost, commits God’s integrity to save them because it is His will that all men should be saved (Psa 89:34; 2 Peter 3:9).
  • We believe that going through the labour room of prayer is a requirement for birthing souls into the kingdom (Isa 66:7-8; Gal 4:19).
  • We believe we as God’s people can hear His voice. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27.
  • We believe that praying for breakthroughs one for another is one of the ways to drawing many to Christ (Eph 6:18; Zech 8:20-23).
  • We believe the Kingdom of Heaven comes near when we pray. “The kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.” (Matt 10:7-8).
  • We believe that prayer and intercession is a covenant requirement for explosive church growth (Ezek 36:37; Psa 2:8).
  • We believe prayer ministry should be marked by the fruits of the Spirit. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”  (Gal 5:22).
  • We believe that prayer is a spiritual force by which souls get saved (Gal 4:19).
  • We believe the gifts of the Spirit are still relevant and for the edification of the body. “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”  (1 Cor 12:7).
  • We believe that praying in the Holy Ghost enhances the effectiveness of our prayers for the salvation of souls (Rom 8:26; Jude 20).
  • We believe it is an honor to pray with another so we minister with utmost care and respect. “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves.”  (Rom 12:10).
  • We believe that the more we pray for others, the more answers we get to our own prayers (Matt 6:5-6; Col 4:12).
  • We believe that when we pray according to god’s will, He hears and answers us (1 John 5:14).
